The staff of the Stallion Scoop for 2007-2008.
The Stallion Scoop is now officially on summer break. Thanks to all the students who contributed stories, photos and editing.
The students not only did a great job taking the helm of this new project at Lakewood, they were also all real troopers by making the early morning meetings twice a month. The meetings were tastefully enhanced by Monty Watson faithfully supplying much needed donuts.
We will be back in the fall with part of our staff returning as fifth graders and hopefully some new fourth grade additions. Good luck to the current fifth graders who are moving on to middle school. Check back for the Scoop in September!

Congratulations to the Scoop staff for a great year of stories and photos of the Lakewood Elementary experience. It took me back to the years my daughters roamed the Lakewood halls. Big thanks to the faculty sponsors and the parents who made this year possible!
