While the temperature must have reached about 127 degrees Friday, the heat failed to wilt the fun and excitement of the Lakewood Fourth of July Parade.

Co-organizer Al See, aka: Uncle Sam, said the turnout was one of the largest he's seen during his years associated with the event.
