The Woodrow Wilson High School junior varsity and freshman football Wildcats kick off the 2008 schedule with tilts against the W.H. Adamson Leopards Sept. 4 at Thomas Field. The freshman squad plays at 5:30 p.m. and the JV hits it at 7 p.m.

The J.L. Long Middle School Buccaneers take on the W.H. Gaston Panthers Sept. 8 at Forester, with the seventh-grade team starting at 5:30 p.m. and the eighth-graders kicking off at 7 p.m.
