The good people at Metro Paws Animal Hospital are to animals what Mother Theresa was to the poor of Calcutta — saintly.

We're told by Stefanie Spaeth of the Lakewood Pet Watch program that the veterinary clinic took in a stray dog rescued by one of their clients.

The female appears to be a yellow Lab-pit bull terrier-mix between 1 and 2 years old.

She was brought in to Metro Paws on Aug. 14 after being found on Monte Vista Drive in Hollywood Heights. It's undetermined whether or not the dog is spayed.

Anyone with information about the dog's home or who might be interested in adopting her can contact Black White read LLC or Metro Paws. End of story
