The faculty and staff, PTA members, and students of Woodrow Wilson High School are in the home stretch leading up to the start of the 2008-09 school year.
In final preparation for the first day of classes, the PTA is asking for volunteers to help out Aug. 25 with registration and student directions.
The attendance, counselors, and registrar's offices need volunteers for the first three days of school, while things are in an early state of relative confusion and hubbub. The organization particularly asks for English-Spanish speaking folks to help out.
Volunteers should contact the PTA to arrange for training.
The PTA also needs parental volunteers to help with the annual Back-to-School Breakfast for teachers and staff. The meal will be served the morning of Aug. 21. Contact the social committee chairwoman to volunteer.
