The winery is perfectly situated catty-corner on Prospect Street so that its large front windows catch the glow of a Lakewood evening. If you can pull yourself off the patio on a lazy summer Sunday to come inside, the Rich Jasin Trio will reward you richly with jazz standards.

One weekend night a month, Jasin plays drums, Bruce Howell thumps his bass, and Ivan Kaufman tinkles the ivories to entertain the patrons of the Lakewood area winery.

Long-time Lakewood resident Howell and wife Margo are friends with vintner Kert Platner and even helped him plant the Alpine, Texas vineyard that supplies the grapes for each year's production. Made right there in Prospect Street's tank and barrel rooms, Times Ten vintages are true Texas wines.
