The Lakewood area is home to a growing number of women who are successful business leaders and entrepreneurs, either residing or working in the area. Lakewood-area Women in Business (LWIB), sponsored by Professional Bank, is a community organization that provides a peer network for executive women. LWIB will host monthly events and create opportunities for women to share experiences, exchange strategies, mentor future “women in business” and pursue learning opportunities to achieve greater personal and professional success.

The objectives of this organization are to network, support, educate, and inform women business leaders in our community, provide mentoring opportunities for the future “women in business” in high school and college in our community, and to discover Lakewood-area businesses and services provided by women.
